WOODPOD's structure is built from wood, the material that has supported Japanese architecture for centuries. The natural properties of wood create both comfort and peace of mind.

・Humidity control: Wood absorbs and releases moisture, softening changes in indoor humidity for a pleasant atmosphere all year round
・Thermal insulation: Wood conducts heat far less than steel or concrete. The standard specification offers high insulation equivalent to Grade 6 under Japan's energy efficiency standards, with higher grades available for cold climates and other site conditions
・Quiet and aroma: Wood softens sound to create a calm, peaceful atmosphere, while its natural aroma and warmth help guests feel at ease
・Light yet strong: Wood is strong for its weight. Because the building is lighter, the forces acting on it during an earthquake are easier to keep low, achieving seismic resistance equivalent to Grade 3, the highest level under Japan's housing performance standards

WOODPOD is a relocatable timber building: the completed structure is built at our factory, transported to the site by truck or ship, and installed as is.

・Wide-area delivery by land and sea: Compatible with truck and ship transport, with a track record of installations on remote islands and in hard-to-reach areas
・Minimal on-site construction: Over 90% of the building is assembled at the factory before shipping, shortening on-site work and reducing the impact on neighbors
・Flexible connection and relocation: From a single unit to larger buildings made by connecting multiple units. When your business needs change, the building can be moved to a new location
